That’s the Point
Most artists at this stage are chasing a deal. Kolby is chasing the opposite: a catalog he owns outright, a sound that’s his from the first note to the final mix, and a direct line to the people who actually listen.
That’s what the project title means in practice. He writes it, sings it, produces it — and keeps it. No label owns a piece of That’s the Point, because no label was needed to make it. Toronto made the artist; independence is how he plans to stay one.
“Come Over” is the front door. The radio push, the videos, the first merch drop — all of it is being built on ground he owns, one listener at a time.
Write it. Sing it. Produce it. Own it. That’s the point.
